ある日二十五六歳のシンガポールの青年二人が、富士山に登った時の長い杖の荷造りの件で相談に来ました。許可は取っていないため名前は伏せて置きます。仮名でAさんとBさんとします。

無償で色々力になってあげたところ、この親切な行為に支払いをしたいと言うので、私はこう言いました。
女性以外何も要らない。世界のリーダーになって下さい。
二人は喜んでいました。

その後二人からメールが来ました。

Dear Flex Tokyo Team,

We really wanted to thank you for your help when we came in to your office today.
We were two tourists who were looking to find packaging to ship our walking sticks from Mt. Fuji. Your team got us packaging material all the way from your warehouse and you offered this material to us for no charge.
We ended up cutting the sticks so that they would be easier to pack in our suitcases using a saw which you provided.
Your team went over and above to help us and we are extremely thankful for all your hospitality. We would especially like to thank Mr. Ohara for going above and beyond in trying to communicate with us and help us, despite the language barrier.

本日、貴社オフィスにお伺いした際の手助けに感謝申し上げます。

私たちは富士山から持ち帰った杖を発送するための梱包資材を探していた観光客でした。お手数をおかけしましたが、チームの皆様は倉庫まで足を運んで梱包資材を提供してくださり、しかも無料でお譲りくださいました。
私たちは杖をスーツケースに収めやすくするために、ご提供いただいたノコギリを使って切断しました。言葉の壁がありながらも、特に大原さんが私たちとコミュニケーションを図り、助けてくださったことに深く感謝しています。
